Use case

Help shoppers find your stores and visit them

Give every store a profile on one map: opening hours, phone number, photos and directions. MAPPY Store Locator shows it all in one place, so shoppers know when to come and how to get there.

The problem

A shopper who finds your store still has questions

Finding the address is only the first step. Before leaving home, shoppers want to know if the store is open, how to call it and how to get there. Each problem below has a matching fix in this setup.

Who it is for: brands with their own shops, counters or showrooms that want online visitors to come in.

Problem 01

Shoppers do not know if your store is open, so they skip the trip.

How it gets fixed

Show opening hours on the store

Each location has a Schedule section where you set its hours, and they show with the store on the map.

Problem 02

A shopper who wants to call ahead or find the entrance has nothing to go on.

How it gets fixed

Add a phone number and directions

Each store shows its phone number, and a Get directions button opens Google Maps so shoppers can plan the route.

Problem 03

A bare address on a list does not tell shoppers what the store looks like.

How it gets fixed

Show the store with photos

Add photos to each location and choose the layout, so the map reads as a profile of the store instead of a list of addresses.

Set it up

Four moves to a store profile worth visiting

Each card shows what the result looks like. Create the locations first, because hours, photos and directions all hang off them.

Create each store

Add the name, address, phone number and photos for every location.

Set the opening hours

Use the Schedule section of each location to set when it is open.

Check the directions

Open a store on your storefront and press Get directions, which opens Google Maps.

Switch locations on and off

Use Status to show or hide a location, such as a store that is closed for a while.

Tips

Before you go live

Hours show what you enter

MAPPY displays the Schedule you set. Update it when your hours change, so shoppers do not arrive at a closed door.

The route panel needs a key

Get directions works by opening Google Maps. The optional Map routes panel needs a Routes API key on Google, a free OpenRouteService key on OpenStreetMap, or a Mapbox token.

No event feature

MAPPY has no pop-up or event announcements. A pop-up can be added as a regular location and switched on and off with Status.

FAQ

Common questions

What can each store show?

Opening hours, phone number, photos and directions, plus the layout you choose for the map.

How do directions work?

A Get directions button opens Google Maps. You can also turn on a Map routes panel, which needs a Routes API key on Google, a free OpenRouteService key on OpenStreetMap, or a Mapbox token.

Can I add a pop-up store?

Yes, as a regular location. Use Status to switch it on and off. MAPPY does not have a separate pop-up or event feature.

Can I announce local events on the map?

No. MAPPY does not have event announcements, so keep event details outside the map.

Which map does it use?

OpenStreetMap, Google Maps or Mapbox, so you can pick the one that suits your store.
