Not to get started. OpenStreetMap works with no API key. Google Maps needs your own API key and Mapbox needs a Mapbox token. Google includes a free monthly usage quota, and charges by usage above it.

Yes. In Online Store > Themes, click Customize, add the Store Locator Map block, drag it where you want it on any page, then save.
Yes. In Online Store > Pages, open the store locator page and edit the URL handle in its SEO section. Keep the page itself, since the app updates it.
In Content > Menus, add a menu item, pick the store locator page as its link, and save.
Add tags when you create or edit a location, then turn on the tag filter in General settings. Tags show up as filter options on the store locator page.
